Wild by Design: Grow Your Own Brand

Wild by Design: Grow Your Own Brand

A field walk for family, friends, and the creative-curious through a Portland garden (location TBD), paired with a two-part nature-based branding experience. We start by noticing: a community walk where we tune into the traits, textures, colors, relationships, and personalities alive in the plants and land around us (documenting what resonates most, what feels relatable, attractive, interesting) in a field guide as we go. From there, we turn our noticing inward with a Root System Map, translating what we witnessed in nature into what we recognize in ourselves: our own traits, values, and sense of identity, searching for where our self-perception and our perception of the natural world collide. We'll then share what surfaced in nature and in ourselves as a group, before moving into the final piece: a branding in your nature exercise that begins to map a personal brand (or one of your own invention) from everything gathered. This is something to take home, sit with, and keep returning to… because like the seasons, our branding, and our sense of self is never meant to be permanent.
