Join us on October 17th for the Joy is Resistance Collage & Zine Workshop at Workers Tap! This evening will be hosted by local collage artist and zine maker, Sarah Joy and AIGA Design for Good Director, Serena Kathleen at Workers Tap from 7PM-10PM

Attendees will be making collages around the core theme “Joy is Resistance.” Once everyone’s collage is complete, we will be scanning and printing each piece and binding together a book. All attendees will leave with their original work and a bound anthology of everyone’s art.

Volunteers will be available to assist in folding and binding. Collage and binding materials will be provided, but if you have supplies of your own that fits the “Joy is Resistance” theme, you are welcome to bring them as well.

Beverages are available for sale at Workers Tap, an all-hours cafe and beer house. Chalino’s, a Oaxacan food cart is open on the back patio of Workers Tap. Attendees will have time between collage making and binding to mingle, get refreshments, or continue creating!
