Letters will be dissected, explained and drawn by hand to build a thorough understanding of the letter forms. Then that knowledge will be put to use by learning the basic brush mechanics and skills required to paint the letters by hand. The combination of hand drawn and brush painted lettering exercises will give a deeper appreciation of the sign painter's Block & Casual letter styles.
